OUR CERTIFICATIONS
Tom Cote
Tom is the founder and co-owner of Applied CAD Solutions.
Tom is a mechanical engineer by schooling and trade and has been designing in CAD since 1984. By the late 1980's he was working as CAD Admin on several different systems. He began using SOLIDWORKS in 1996 and holds several certifications in SOLIDWORKS, PDM, and the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
Tom’s been very active in the SWUG community for over 15 years. He’s the co-founder and co-leader of both the President of the Pirates of Tampa Bay SWUG (POT-SWUG) as well as a co-founder and co-leader of the PDM-SWUG. He frequently presents at many of the SWUGs around the US and annually at 3DEXPERIENCE World.
In his spare time, he enjoys driving his Mustang and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Barbara Cote
Barbara is co-owner of Applied CAD Solutions.
Barbara is a mechanical designer with several years of SOLIDWORKS under her belt and is proud of the fact that she “aced” the CSWP exam. She is the co-leader of the Pirates of Tampa Bay SOLIDWORKS Users Group (POT-SWUG).
In her spare time, she enjoys arts and crafts as well as spending time with her husband (Tom) and their daughter.
Craig Lalumiere
Craig Lalumiere has an Electro-Mechanical Engineering (BS) degree. He minored in Mechanical Engineering (AS) along with a certificate in 3D Parametric Modeling. He has several SOLIDWORKS Certifications in SOLIDWORKS, PDM and the 3D Experience Platform. He is the Northern Vermont SOLIDWORKS user group (SWUG) leader and a committee member of the PDM-SWUG. Craig has presented at 3D Experience World and at many SWUGs around New England.
Craig has been a CAD Administrator for most of his career. He currently works at Applied CAD Solutions where he administrates, installs, migrates, and trains SOLIDWORKS & PDM throughout North America. He has built knowledge in many different industries that include automotive, robotics, industrial power, military, and medical equipment working as a Field Tech, Design Engineer, IT, and a CAD Admin.
As an advocate of continuous improvement, Craig fundamentally believes that every process can be made more efficient.
