Our HQ is Moving!

Applied CAD Solutions LLC is going to have a new headquarters in the Tampa Bay, Florida area starting winter 2018! Tom and Barbara have been considering the relocation of the ACS headquarters for some time and have decided the best time is when it is cold in New England. The move will have no impact on supporting the growing ACS customer base and Craig will still be located in the Greater Boston Area. As part of the move, Tom and Barbara are taking ownership of the Pirates of the (Tampa) Bay SOLIDWORKS User Group (TB-SWUG) as President and Vice President. Tom will still remain an adviser of the Central MA SOLIDWORKS User Group (CMA-SWUG). ACS is certainly excited for the warmer weather and opportunities for their customers with this move… I mean how could they not with a new view like this (see photo above)!

Best Practices for Managing SOLIDWORKS Large Assembly Models

Did you miss attending SOLIDWORKS World 2016?

Well, good news: Tom Cote’s presentation Best Practices for Managing Large Assembly Models was recorded and you can watch it for free! This was one of the more popular sessions from SOLIDWORKS World that will provide advice on how to get large part and assembly models to perform more efficiently. You will learn:

  • What is a large SOLIDWORKS assembly and why is it important?
  • What affects performance and how do we measure it?
  • Which features and options have a negative or positive impact on performance?
  • What tools in SOLIDWORKS can help performance?

WATCH NOW HERE and see the capabilities in SOLIDWORKS that can help you accelerate your design process, save time and development costs, and increase productivity. Special thanks to Dassault Systems for recording this presentation.
