SOLIDWORKS

SOLIDWORKS is Dassault Systemes premier 3D CAD design application, leading the industry for parametric solid modeling. All three of our team leaders (Tom, Barbara, and Craig) are SOLIDWORKS certified. We are proud to brag that Barbara aced her CSWP exam.

PDM CAD VAULT

ACS has been one of the industry leaders on the SOLIDWORKS PDM vault so much so that we are regarded as “Subject Matter Experts”.

We have implemented over 70 PDM systems worldwide and several of those we are still the consultant as the CAD &/or PDM Administrators. Like a SOLIDWORKS VAR Tech Support staff we have achieved the same PDM certification level as the VAR's are required to achieve. We’ve recently been “diving” in AutoDesk's vault and completed our first system.

CAD SOFTWARE

Over the years we have worked with a wide variety of CAD applications. Tom started in the early 80’s on Unigraphics, but our CAD knowledge goes much deeper. We have had experience on Unigraphics 2D, AutoCAD, CADKEY, Computer Vision, and Onshape Most recently, we have begun to learn and work with xShape from Dassault Systems.

Many companies simply "tap" someone from their engineering team to be the CAD and/or PDM Admin. While oftentimes this can work, sometimes this is not the best solution. In other cases, the design team is already well suited to their specific area. We are able to provide professional and dedicated administration, assisting many companies in establishing the best practices, procedures and processes to keep their system running at the best performance possible. ACS offers professional CAD & PDM Admin services on an "as needed '' basis. For some companies, it's just yearly upgrades. For others, it's managing the complete system. This is one of our primary services and we pride ourselves on being ready to serve you in an efficient and timely manner.

System Upgrade Services

Many customers use our services to upgrade their SOLIDWORKS and PDM system. It’s what we do! We understand that most companies need to upgrade “off-peak hours” and we are okay with that. We have upgraded over 100 companies (both small & large) and we have upgraded many of those companies more than once. We are extremely proficient, thorough, and know the upgrade issues and traps that you may encounter when upgrading on your own.

Sync ERP and PDM Systems

When COVID hit the world many companies learned they had a major issue with their current PLM/ERP system. Mostly that the CAD/PDM and ERP/MRP systems do not talk to each other and therefore require a lot of dual data entry.

Another issue companies realized is that there is a lot of “tribal knowledge” in manual systems and working remote users didn’t have the guy sitting next to them to ask “how do I…?” As a result, many companies are investigating and/or implementing “PDM to PLM connector” applications.

We have been working with many companies assisting them in determining their needs and selecting which company might be the best option for them. Since we do not sell the software, we have no vested interest in the selection beyond ensuring our customers get the best solution to meet their needs.
